Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Dip
We love Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes! It seems that they are becoming increasingly popular recently too.
Last year, I shared a recipe card that I received for a dip made from the infamous Christmastime snack cakes on my Facebook page and folks went absolutely crazy over it.
There were some people who thought it sounded delicious and wanted to make it and then there were those who thought it was way too much sugar and just gross.
Truth be told, I was one of the ones who thought it sounded kind of gross and didn’t want any part of it.
Well, fast forward to this year and the recipe image started getting more traction again. So, I decided to take one for the team and give it a test run.
And you know what? It’s actually really delicious! It reminds me of a cake batter flavored cheesecake.
It’s delicious served as a dip and it also makes a fabulous filling for cookie sandwiches.
We took a couple of sugar cookies and made Little Debbie Christmas tree cake sugar cookies sandwiches. Now that’s a mouthful, try saying that one three times fast!

Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Dip Ingredients
Obviously you’re going to need some Little Debbie Christmas tree cakes. One box will do, plus an extra cake for garnish.
Here’s the list of ingredients:
- Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes: These seasonal snack cakes bring a soft, sweet texture and that classic flavor everyone loves. If you can’t find these, Zebra Cakes or other Little Debbie cakes could work too.
- Cream Cheese: Softened cream cheese is key for a fluffy dessert dip. Letting it come to room temperature makes it easier to blend smoothly.
- Milk: Just a splash of milk helps thin the mixture a bit, so it’s perfect for dipping. Any type of milk works!
- Vanilla Extract: Brings out the flavors of the Little Debbie cakes with a tad bit of vanilla extract.
- Whipped Topping (Like Cool Whip): This adds a fluffy, light texture to the dip, making it easier to scoop.
- Red and Green Sprinkles: Some red and green sugar sprinkles give the dip a Christmas vibe, plus it looks super pretty.
- Edible Glitter (Optional): For a little sparkle, add some edible glitter spray! It’s perfect for a dessert board.
- Cookies, Fruit, or Other Dippables: Serve this sweet dip with a variety of favorite dippers like gingerbread cookies, fresh fruit, and vanilla wafers. They’re all perfect for scooping up this delicious Christmas dip!
