Patriotic Pretzel Bites

Patriotic American Flag Pretzel Bites – super cute, and all you need is 3 ingredients & a few minutes. So easy, even your little kids can make them! Perfect treat for 4th of July or Memorial Day!

We’re down to the final days before 4th of July hits, so that’s when easy last minute recipes like this really come in handy.  Gotta love last minute recipes because if you’re anything like me, holidays and such have a tendency to sneak up on you – and suddenly it’s 2 days before the event, and you haven’t a clue as to what you’re gonna make.  I’ve been there a time or two…. or ten.

All you need is 3 ingredients for this one – and it’s so easy, even your kiddos can do it.

Here’s what you need:

The butter snap are mini square pretzels & they have the perfect shape for these little American Flag pretzel treats.

On a baking sheet, or microwave save plate – place the butter snap pretzels in a single layer. Place one piece of Wilton’s Candy Melts on each pretzel. If using a microwave, zap it for about 15-30 seconds – until softened. If using a baking sheet, bake it on 200 degrees for 4-5 minutes.

Place the blue & red mini m&ms into an American flag shape – gently sticking them by the ends into the softened candy melts.
