I love starch.

I love cheese.

I love garlic.

And, I LOVE these potatoes.  I CRAVE these potatoes. Creamy, cheesy, garlic-y perfection.

I also love my husband, but I will so stab his hand with my fork if he tries taking a bite off of my plate.  I’m all for sharing…but that’s pushing it.

But, I will share my recipe with y’all so that you can see for yourself what I’m going on & on about.  You just have to try these.  It just wouldn’t be right if you didn’t.

I actually had shredded Gouda cheese in the frig and was looking for a recipe to use it when I found yours. I made it this evening, only cut the size down by about a third to a 9×9″ pan. This stuff is heavenly! I’m having to fight myself not to have a third helping. There is no redeeming health benefit (due to the high fat content) but definitely a keeper that I’ll fix on major holidays or special occasions. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe with us!

  13. Can you use milk instead of heavy cream?

  14. Oh my!!! Made it Loved it. This is something you would have at one of those fancy steakhouse restaurants. My husband thanks you.
